Aims & objectives

The main objective of the training event was that of convey some self-development techniques and help participants to start their process of self-development, conveying some soft-skills, and doing some session about body language and the use of the body, trying to getting out of the comfort zone. The second goal of the training was that of providing some information more concrete and real about immigration and refugee crisis in Italy and in the city of Udine, explaining to participants the procedure they have to face and go through in oder to ask for the asylum in Italy and in order to get a job in Italy.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

There were 30 participants coming from 12 different countries, such as Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Germany, Poland and Hungary.

Training methods used & main activities

The methods used belong to the field of the non-formal education. We used play roles, simulation games, open table, world cafe, human libraries, reflection groups, round table, games and questionnaires.

Outcomes of the activity

Many articles were written and this one of of them. The event was also very appreciated because it dealt with the topic of the immigration and the refugee crisis happening right now in Europe. Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was the content manager and one of the two trainers responsible of the training activities and the session during the whole duration of the event.

I worked on this training for 10 days as a full time trainer.
