Terra Incognita - Experiential Education for the Rural Youth

Aims & objectives

Promotion of the experiential education as a tool to untap the potential of the rural context and organize practical training of youth on various topics like environment, culture and heritage, tourism and entrepreneurship. Participating youth from the rural areas as well as youth leaders and youth workers who dedicated their wok to rural youth empowerment took part.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal and experiential education in the countryside context: workshops, hikes, common food production, modelling, gamification and microprojects, media production in rural areas.

Outcomes of the activity

The group of local youth + more from the participating organizations joined and organized a follow-up Large-Scale Event - Festival of Traditional culture and Experiential Education in Stina.
