Aims & objectives

Aim and specific objectives of the training course Minorities, Opportunities and Challenges – From Awareness to Action:
-To develop specific trainer competences related to work with minority youth and citizenship;
-To give participants knowledge on international mechanisms of protection of rights of minorities;
-To promote the Youth in Action program as a tool for minority youth empowerment;
-To give participants skills on working with minority groups in particular with young people;
-To inform the participants about the possibilities that YiA program offers in connections with inclusion and minorities

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

16 participants from Serbia, Kosovo, Romania, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) took part in the Training Course. The working language of the Training Course was English.

Training methods used & main activities

The training course will be based on non/formal learning including theory, presentations, discussions as team works in mix teams, role plays or art methods.

Outcomes of the activity

On this TC participant make new project and they apply project in national agency....

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I am one of two Trainer and I take about 50% on this YiA project.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
