Aims & objectives

The training activity aimed to develop participants’ capacities in leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills while enhancing their ability to work effectively in teams. It addressed the needs of youth and emerging leaders by providing structured sessions on study skills, active listening, time management, problem and power analysis, stakeholder engagement, and practical group work.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Professionals from Lebanon, Syria and Palestine.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-Formal education approaches including, interactive workshops, group discussions, simulations and role-plays, peer-to-peer learning, problem-solving exercises, reflection circles, and hands-on activities. The activity encouraged participants to share experiences, collaborate in teams, practice new skills in real-life scenarios, and reflect on their learning, ensuring a participatory and learner-centered approach.

Outcomes of the activity

The training successfully enhanced participants’ knowledge and skills in leadership, teamwork, negotiation, problem analysis, and presentation, while strengthening their ability to work collaboratively and think strategically. Success is evident from participants’ active engagement in group work and presentations, positive feedback during the evaluation session, and the completion of the graduation ceremony with certificates awarded.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I served as the lead trainer, responsible for designing and delivering the Training Course. My responsibilities included preparing the training curriculum, facilitating all sessions, coordinating the trainer team, and conducting the evaluation of the training to ensure learning objectives were met.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
