International Training Course BALTIC LAB

in Malmo, Sweden
organised by Council of Baltic Sea States and Swesish Institute
12-17 April 2013

Aims & objectives


A joint program launched in cooperation between the Council of the Baltic Sea States Secretariat in Stockholm and the Swedish Institute, BalticLab is designed for young emerging talents in creative industries and project start-ups in the Baltic Sea region. We want to grasp young talent in the Baltic and provide networking opportunities and skill building opportunities for further success. Participants engaged in workshops combining mapping, storytelling and documentation of their experience in their field and in the region.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

In the long-term international training took part participants from Russia, Lithuania, Sweden, Poland.
The team of trainers and speakers involved experts from Sweden, Poland, Belarus, Portugal and Bulgaria.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal education methods. Interactive simulation exercises, followed by moderated discussion.

Long-term training and networking among Baltic young academics and entrepreneurs
