From Vision to Action: Quality & Sustainability in Erasmus+ Projects

The training activity took place
in Issor, France
organised by Association La Villa
18.-23.06.2025.

Aims & objectives

To develop youth workers’ competences of delivering quality learning mobilities with focus on sustainability and social inclusion and diversity strategy of Erasmus+ programme.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The training course brought together 20 youth workers and activists from Italy, Latvia, France, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Training methods used & main activities

This training course offered an opportunity to reflect on our practices, to celebrate what works, and to identify ways to prevent ineffective experiences in Erasmus+ projects. Through practicing and reflection participants had a chance to explore how to create meaningful learning environments that leave a lasting positive mark on individuals and communities. Participants were invited to critically examine the resources and privileges they have, how they use them, and the real impact of the youth projects.
Through non-formal education, we explored how to design youth experiences that are socially
inclusive, pedagogically sound, and environmentally sustainable. We will also discussed concrete strategies for reducing the negative ecological footprint of our activities while maximizing their long-term benefits.
Importantly, we will also explore how to measure and assess our impact, ensuring that our efforts
translate into meaningful change.
The program included such methods as theater of the oppressed, interactive presentations, creative individual and group reflection activities, learning space dynamics, table games, networking and creating professional constellations.
