Aims & objectives

With our training course we aim to raise awareness about Human rights in spheres of domestic violence, xenophobia and discrimination through making Human rights escape room, as well as understanding how to use escape rooms as a learning tool in order to create similar projects on Human rights back at local communities

We set following objectives for the project:
● Spread ideas of human rights protection among participants, partner organisations and guests of
the training course
● Provide youth workers and NGO workers with tools and knowledge on how to organise escape
rooms, which will bring ideas of human rights protection to greater amount of people
● Using new and creative methods to tacle human rights topics and providing those to participants so they can use it daily in their work
● To create working tools which can be used in local communities
● Develop a network of youth workers and NGO workers in Europe who are ready to do quest rooms
on human rights by giving them an opportunity to practice this approach and creating a good
atmosphere for connection between participants
● Bring understanding of nowadays problems in human rights area through giving examples, ideas and theoretical knowledge during the project
● To raise awareness of such human rights domestic violence, xenophobia and discrimination

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Youth workers, NGO workers and active youngsters aged 18+ who already have some experience working with youngsters and preferably working with Human rights issue before. 24 participants

Training methods used & main activities

Non formal education methods.
Simulations, puzzles presentation (fair), small group workings.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants learned how to make a build Escape room for human rights education. Was build 3 rooms during the training course.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

The training team composed by 2 trainers with the main conductors of the mentoring process inside the group that will work also in peer to peer inside the group. This mentoring includes personal feedback, assistance for the learning booklet and personal action plans and facilitation of peer to peer support. The organisation team will also support the participants in order to create a better and more comfortable space for everybody feel free to express themselves and join the learning process together.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
