The aim of this training course will be to improve fundamental tools and skills for the success of EVS in terms of human aspects.
To practice tools and skills for the success of EVS in terms of psychological and human support to the EVS volunteers
To explore and develop awareness of culture, based on the individual perspective
To understand EVS through the volunteers point of view
To rebuild the life cycle of EVS accounting for best practices
To identify space for improvement and design an appropriate plan to follow up
To create a safe, sharing and creative environment on which standardized practices will be exceeded
20 participants, youth workers, volunteers, EVS coordinators, EVS mentors from Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Rumania, Slovakia, Turkey
The methodology was based on non formal learning techniques and tools to name some:

Group/individual reflection
Experiential activities
Self/group assessment
Participants explored and practices different tools that EVS mentors can use to support the EVS volunteers including coaching techniques, learning assessment, communication and feedback, different personalities approach, learning styles approach.
Also, partnerships were developed and the role of the EVS mentors was clarified through practices and examples.
