Outcomes of the activity

All 26 young participants camping, coexisting and collaborating in 2 festivals (with different volunteer roles/ tasks) developed social skills, cultural awareness, their integration ability, gain a better understanding of diverse life situations and be open minded. For many of them it was the first time of acquiring a sense of "work responsability and duty" so they developed organisational skills and time keeping, and so other employ-ability skills.
They also developed a greater undersanding of environmental concerns such as recycling and food waste. Recycling: we encourage festival goers to recycle and the team takes a lot of recycling material off landfield them selves.
Salvaging; our volunteers plus local groups of volunteers works for a full day collecting camping equipment in good conditions to give to charities and food for food banks
