TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

To facilitate dialogue and knowledge exchange on the role that Civic Society and local Entrepreneurs play in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and the role that global citizenship education in facilitating Global Youth Partnerships further.
This international activity hosted 60 people who were activists, youth workers, youth leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, and policymakers from MENA and Europe.
Countries involved: Algeria, Bahrain, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanese, Lebanon
Lithuania, Moroccan, Nigeria, Omani, Palestina, Spain
Syria, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom.
The trainers' team consisted of 11 people from Europe, India, and Africa (https://www.erasmuspartnerships.org/our-team/ )
Non-formal education methodology, including discussion, experiences, and experiences shares. Additional methods were policy dialog with relevant stakeholders and policymakers and the creation of policy recommendations for effective Development and Development Cooperation between Europe and MENA in the fields of Education and Entrepreneurship.
- This forum served as international space for discussions on how Global Citizenship Education & Internationalisation of Higher Education contributes to skill development and the increase of employability of young people;
- It explored the role of Inclusion, Media & Information
Literacy and improved Socio-Economic opportunities in building and sustaining a Culture of Peace;
-Participants were supported to create cooperations across borders and disciplines and to create Social Entrepreneurship projects;
- Policy recommendations or effective
Development and Development Cooperation between
Europe and MENA in the fields of Education and
Entrepreneurship have been created as a part of this forum.
Full-time trainer, responsible for the facilitation of workshops and discussion groups.
I am a Co-founder of the project, and was one of the coordinators. Aiste joined as a trainer, and did an amazing job in using non-formal education activities to support the Forum.
