Aims & objectives

The aim of the program was to motivate youngster with special needs to create their own program, to show they that they are able to contribut to society. They had opportunity to try themselves in several different program from sport till crafting. The group was mixed with healthy and with disabled youngsters and with their mentors/tutors.
• Be inspiring leaders, meaning inspiring others to go into action by being the example
• Create results beyond their imagination
• Work in an international, intercultural team
• Work out of excellence, through taking risks and correcting mistakes
• Work by the ´learning by experience´ method – that is to reflect on our actions and, then, re-act!

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The groups was really diverse from Latvia, Ireland, Turkey, Poland, Spain, Hungary and Italy. Always taking care of he gender balanace as well.

Training methods used & main activities

The main method was he experimental learning, what is a nonformal learning method.
Learning by experience, outdoor training, and theatre plays are working
methods which all have one thing in common: playing. Playing allows us to access a state
of freedom, creativity and exploration that is associated with the natural learning of
childhood. Role-plays, structured experiments, simulation, and theatre are examples of
games with experiential learning opportunities. Games can create a play frame, which
makes the act of learning a dynamic and enjoyable process, which recalls the carefree
playing time of childhood.
Experiential activities can transform learning into adventure.

Outcomes of the activity

The outcome of the program was visible already on the last day, when participants were organizing activities to eachother, showing and sharing their interests and talents to eachother and locals.
Participanats personal succeses were visible in their work and their behaviaur towards each other.
Their showed their willingness to us by writing poems, organizing programs, putting togeher the content of a magazine.
