Aims & objectives

To train youth workers in how to manage diversity in their daily work and in youth activities. The youth workers will be trained to help young people to make sense of increasingly diverse society and manoeuvre around in it successfully. They learn to cooperate smoothly despite differences of all kinds.
-To explore concepts and different forms of diversity and inclusion;  To strengthen and develop youth workers’ ‘diversity management’ skills;  To learn from approaches and methods used in youth work, but also in other sectors, and see how these can be applied and adapted to the needs of the youth field;  To gain knowledge on different tools, methods and techniques for managing diversity and interacting successfully despite differences.

youth workers from (32) from 17 countries

Outcomes of the activity

participants learnt about diversity management and its differences at different levels, and understood concepts and different forms of diversity and inclusion.
They have experienced and learnt various methods applicable for diversity management, used in youth work and business.
