TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The training had the purpose to give Coaching tools for people working in Community organzing activties. The needs came from the fact that in many countries accross Europe, there is a lack of community spirit and engagement and the training, which was one of 3 trainings from this project, aimed to support that. The training is on the same path with the Organization's goals, since the organizations is working with Community organizers in Constanta, being a link between parts of civil society and the decision makers on the public and political side.
The target group was made of people above 18 years old, coming from several countries (Romania, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria), who are engaged in their communities as workers or experts in the filed and needed to develop their coaching tools in order to achieve more sustainable results.
The methods used were coming from non-formal education, such as role play during coaching sessions between the participants, energizers, group work based on the community needs.
The training gave the opportunity to participants to learn and develop the Coaching skills, alongside with developing the community thei work in.

I was one of the two trainers involved in delivering the training, and there were also 3 assistants supporting us. My role is to deliver parts of sessions (either whole sessions, wither parts of sessions with the other trainer), to support participants in their learning & evaluation process and to give them feedback during the activities.
Silviu was supporting us in this projects (we worked with him before and we trusted hos skills as a trainer), being a valuable person for the training's path, with the whole team: the other trainer, the assitants and the organizers. He dedicate several days prior to the training for preparation, developing activities and creating activites suitable for the training itself.
