Aims & objectives

Aims: Training on Active Citizenship, Social In/Exclusion, Intercultural Contact, Group Collaboration, and Diversity. Ten days of simulations, discussions, and group work. We ended up working a lot also on Group Dynamics. I was co-training with Emanuele Nargi.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants came from Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, UK, Italy, France, Portugal, Malta, and Latvia. Team was from Italy and UK.

Training methods used & main activities

Simulations, games, discussions, brainstorming, metaphor-driven training.

Outcomes of the activity

At the end of the training the participants were involved in organizing future collaborations among them and looking for practical ways to apply the work on active european citizenship in their local communities.
