Aims & objectives

Objectives of the training course are providing participants with competences and tools for implementing effective volunteer management system; raising participants' skills for creating their own local/international short/long-term volunteering programs. With this training course we aim to increase social skills and personal development of participants and raise awareness of importance and values of volunteering.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Group was composed from 24 participants from 17 countries. Profile of the participants:
Volunteer coordinators, managers and people who are directly involved with
management of volunteers and have some previous experience with volunteering activities.

Training methods used & main activities

Ice-breakers, Name games, Treasure hunt, Brainstorming, Discussion, Exercises, Practical simulation, Research project, Small group work, Theater, Facilitation, Creative group evaluation...

Outcomes of the activity

This training received very good evaluation by participants. Several innovative training tools have been created in the course of training. More important, significant number of the participants become very valuable volunteer managers and active members of their youth organizations.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

In a team with 2 other international trainers, my tasks were to:
* Adjust the existing program and prepare the session methods of the Training together with other 2 trainers prior the activity starts;
* Participate in 1 day in person preparation meeting in raining venue together with the team;
* Participate in daily evaluation and planning meetings together with the team;
* Deliver 7 days Training Course together with the training team according to the rules of SEEYN Trainer's Charter (enclosed);
* Provide support and feed back to participants during the Training Course;
* Participate in final evaluation of the Training and give recommendations for future similar activities;
* Provide written report for all the sessions, final timetable, resources and materials used and contribute to creating of the final
activity report;
* Respect deadlines and Trainer responsibilities.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
