ACTO Tools for implementation of Youth Policies

in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina
organised by Youth Council of Federation of BiH

Aims & objectives

ACTIVE TODAY – Tolls for the implementation of youth policies is a project that aims to bring
together seven countries coming from South East Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia,
Macedonia, Montenegro, Turkey, Bulgaria and Italy) to investigate the issues related to
implementation of youth policy and tools that Youth councils and youth organizations can use within international youth work as well as inclusion of youth in decision making process.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

22 youth workers coming from BiH, Turkey,
Macedonia, Montenegro, Italy, Serbia and Bulgaria
Organized by team of Youth Council of FBiH trainers team was including 5 trainers from two countries.

Outcomes of the activity

Training give examples of good practice in each country for civic initiatives
Training give opportunity for participants to explore possible ideas for future projects
Training brought real examples of initiatives led by Young people
Training give participants opportunity to understand basic steps in organizing civic initiatives and campaigning

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Within the Training and organizing team I was leading two day sessions on basics of civic initiatives and exploring ideas for future projects that should be carried out by participants organizations.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
