Work experience

Joseph is a certified coach and an experienced Talent Management practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in Human Resources. He was and will always be interested in developing human potential and maximizing the Happiness level at the workplace.
His background is a mashup of local and international stories (Germany, UK, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, KSA & UAE), and his personal experiences with several NGOs. This blend molded his ease in cultural competence and diversity!

Joseph started his career as a teller, and his yearning to develop his understanding of human relations fueled his decision to shift to the HR field, he was able to train more than 1,000 Western Union agents and 5,000 operators on sales techniques and customer service, which contributed to the growth and development of OMT locally. Having an entrepreneurial mindset pushed him to always come up with innovative and pioneering ideas, which ultimately rewarded him with the OMT Western Union Innovation award in 2018.
In parallel to his career progress, Joseph pursued a diploma in HR management and then received his coaching certificate from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). His academic journey capped with the pursuit of a master’s degree in Educational Psychology.

Joseph is also a freelance trainer with the European Commission. This partnership was celebrated and still in several projects in Germany, Sweden & Italy.
As a former Talent Engagement partner, Joseph topped the HR Satisfaction Survey for 2 consecutive years (2019 and 2020), drove Holdal group Learning culture, developed their Online Academy, and revamped their Performance Management & Talent Scorecard Modules for 600 employees.
He is also leading projects related to SGDs 3, 4, 5, 12, and 17, aiming to make any company an employer of choice.
In 2021, Joseph explored consultancy opportunities in KSA and UAE, he also topped his career ladder by leading the learning academy of Chalhoub group in KSA.
The volunteering experiences that he has had with the youth for more than 7 years, whether through training, community-building events, or leadership programs, culminated with the start of his initiative, Tik Talk, a web show and podcast that targets fresh graduates to share with them many tips and tricks to penetrate the workplace smartly.

Today, Joseph can confidently speak about human resources, talent development, employee experience, community engagement, and corporate social responsibility. The journey that one leads to fulfilling one’s ultimate calling is a long and hard one. However, he can positively say that, through hard work and dedication, he was able to climb the ladder in the pursuit of his own treasure.
