This handbook was created as a final product of the Youth Exchange "Youth Cares! Young Citizen Active and Responsible". It summarizes various topics in light of non-formal education methods and also contains the basic instructions for life in nature.
The aim of this handbook is to inform young people and youth workers about Active Citizenship and also about different cultural backgrounds. In addition to this, it is a great tool for learning new methods of non-formal education, adjust and apply them at different groups. Last but not least, the handbook contains the basic first aid instructions for the life in nature and all the necessary information for a good preparation before visiting nature.
The Handbook constists of nine different sections in which you can find:
-The definition of Active Citizen created by the participants of the Youth Exchange
-Instructions on how to be prepared for visiting nature
-Basic first aid information
-Plenty of non-formal education activities
-Different cultural activities
