This publication is a collection of the learning outcomes and information collected during the Training Course, Hero's Journey: the power of storytelling for wellbeing.
The AIM of the project was “To equip organizations with the storytelling method for educating the youth at risk on how to take care of their mental health & wellbeing."
The objectives were:
- To equip 26 youth workers with the storytelling competence and its usage for educating on how to take care of their mental health & well-being.
- To discover effective strategies for educating on mental health & well-being both offline & online.
- To design and implement workshops using storytelling methods for educating youth at risk on how to take care of their mental health & well-being.
- To identify, publish and promote stories that can be used for fostering empathy, understanding, and self-reflection to promote mental health & wellbeing.
- To promote the importance of mental health & well-being in a way it reaches at least 10 000+ people.
In this booklet you will find different information: The importance of storytelling, activities, tales and stories from different countries of Europe, follow-up activities from the participants of the Training Course, etc.
