A practical 30-day Well-being Planner and Reflective Practice Journal supporting youth workers to manage stress, build resilience, and integrate daily self-care through small, achievable steps.
The aim of the Well-being Planner and Reflective Practice Journal is to support youth workers in strengthening their mental well-being through daily reflection, stress awareness, and sustainable self-care habits that prevent burnout and support long-term resilience.
The Well-being Planner and Reflective Practice Journal is a practical, self-guided learning tool designed specifically for youth workers in emotionally demanding roles. It supports mental well-being through a structured 30-day process that combines short daily micro-activities with guided evening reflection.
The Planner encourages users to take small, realistic steps toward well-being, helping them build self-care habits that fit into busy professional lives. The Reflective Practice Journal supports deeper awareness by guiding users to reflect on emotions, stressors, boundaries, and energy levels in relation to their daily work.
Through regular use of the Planner and Journal, learners will:
1) increase self-awareness and recognise early signs of stress and overload;
2) develop daily habits that support emotional balance and resilience;
3) integrate reflective practice into their professional routine;
4) improve emotional regulation and stress management;
5) reframe self-care as a professional necessity rather than a personal luxury.
The tool can be used independently or as part of group learning, supervision, or continuous professional development activities. It is available online in English, Spanish, Romanian, Greek, and Czech.
