Aims of the tool

Helping to keep an overview of the ongoing EVS project on a personal level as well as in order to advise the involved parties about the next steps.

Description of the tool

The EVS Pro Coordinators Agenda gives EVS coordinators the possibility to have a reference for all the main actors’ tasks and responsibilities, arranged in a convenient timeline.
Aside from the detailed tasks and duties of all the actors involved, it includes the volunteers motivation curve to show what difficulties the EVS volunteer might go through in what phase of the project.

On the other side of the poster the Agenda offers a post-it-board to keep up to date in a personalized way with the EVS project as coordinator. It shows a growing tree to symbolize the constant development of the project. In different fields like Next Steps, Support, Ideas, Volunteer's Corner, Feedback, Pure Awesomess and Development & Learning, the coordinator can use post-its to make helpful and self-motivating notes, keep check-lists, profiles of volunteers and self-reflection in a overview.

The Agenda was created in the international training course “EVS Pro: Training for Coordinators and Supervisors of Longterm Volunteering Projects", held in October 2017 in Switzerland with 23 EVS coordinators and otherwise involved people in EVS from Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Egypt, Austria and Ukraine.
