Develop project ideas with young people and find a common picture/understanding for situations in different realities

Description of the tool

* Divide participants in small groups. Maybe start with a warming up about brainstorming and rules for creative
environment, such as
1. Nobody is wrong, no idea is crazy
2. Forbid the automatic NO
3. Everything is worth writing down
4. Use the positive in each idea.
(There are more specific brainstorming techniques that you may want to use.)

Ask them then to brainstorm about "What is the situation / the problems and opportunities for young people in your community today?" Use the group’s own experiences. Write them on the flip chart.
Work then with the question: how could
international youth work be a strategy to deal with these things? Write up on post-its and put them on the flipchart.

Vernissage or report in big group.
