Our main objective is to foster the growth of informal learning environments, which provide opportunities for young people to engage in craft making with the support of digital technology.
3D Lab is an Erasmus+ project in the Youth field involving three organisations from Poland, Greece and Italy: Education Centre EST (Wadowice), Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus” (Patras) and Metallo Nobile (Florence).
We formed a partnership to create new opportunities for young people to engage in craft making with support of digital technology. To achieve this, we are taking several actions:
- Organising 3D Lab workshops taking learners from digital designing to producing physical objects
- Facilitating communication of both young participants and youth workers involved in creative artisan projects
- Building an online course on how to integrate digital design and prototyping technology in a craft making space
3D Lab online course, the main output of the project, is available at https://youthart.eu/3dlab/
