Youth work(ers) for Tolerance

he project is planned to increase the capacity of youth workers to ensure better integration of young refugees and immigrants into local communities.

The project emerged from the current situation related to refugee and immigrant status. The problems faced by refugees and immigrants today are traumatized due to their separation from their roots, coming to an unfamiliar place, and leaving home they are rooted in. Also, these young people experience a social shock in a new country, it is difficult for them to get over their adolescence, sometimes they become radicalized, they are not welcomed by the society and can be seen as the source of economic problems in the country. Based on these situations, it is seen that young refugees and immigrants need education and social inclusion projects, improvement of learning environments and transferable professional skills, and support and guidance during the habituation process.

The project is planned to increase the capacity of youth workers to ensure better integration of young refugees and immigrants into local communities. All objectives will be discussed and set with partners based on the needs and objectives of each organization and their target group.
