Training for staff who work with adolescent females with behavioural difficulties

Training for staff and professionals working in care to share their experiences and good practices.

We need to find partners to participate in a training programme we will be organizing between February and March 2015.

The ideal partners would be agencies or organisations that work with young adolescent females. The training will consist of several professionals tackling different topics relevant to the realities of working in a residential home. The Maltese participants benefitting from the training are staff of the Homes, who are mainly care workers.

The ideal partner would be able to send for training staff that work in a similar position so that we can share our work experiences and good practices
Similar training in the past year with staff of CVB was a success however participants showed enthusiasm for such training to be taken further.

The topics which will be discussed are the following:
- Dealing with challenging behaviour
- Dealing with stress at the work place
- Effective communication
- Ethics and spirituality at the place of work
- Attachment and loss
