ToPiC Factory – Tailoring, Printing, Communicating

Diaconia Valdese is looking for partners for the submission of a training and a youth exchange proposal under the KA1 Erasmus+ program (deadline 4 October 2017)

The project “ToPiC Factory” is about empowering young people with creative skills for entrepreneurship. The main fields of the project are: creativity (tailoring, silk-screen printing, communicating), entrepreneurship, social inclusion, sustainability, education and craftsmanship, job research policies.
The participants should be youngsters having trouble to find work, neet (not in education, employment or training), migrants, youngsters with an interest and attitude in the creative area.
We want to include them in the process of creation from the initial phase to the final product, cooperating in groups and working in three different areas to make the product finished: tailoring, silk-screen printing, communicating and selling on-line.
We want to explore the educative dynamic to involve youngsters in reaching the common goal, also how to handle concrete accidents that could happen during the creative process as in work life itself.

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES, DATES AND PLACE:
We’re planning a training (in February 2018) and a youth exchange (in June 2018), both in Luserna San Giovanni (TO), Italy.
The training will include 20 participants from 6/7 countries, and the youth exchange will include 20 participants aged 18-26 from 3 countries.

PROFILE OF YOUTH WORKERS:
-more than 20 years old
-with a good English
-youth workers with experience and interest in the items of the project

PARTNER ASSOCIATIONS’ PROFILE:
We are looking for non-profit organizations coming from the Program and Partner Countries that are interested in sharing their experience and increasing their knowledge about these different fields with the youngsters.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS:
Participants' travel tickets (to and from the venue of the training) will be refunded by the coordinating organization within the limits of the Erasmus + lump sums. Accommodation, meals, as well as any material support for the training will be entirely covered by the Erasmus + funding. There will be no participation fee.
