Description:
The Training of Trainers “Take the Challenge – Train on intercultural learning and antidiscrimination!” will be organized for youth workers from Youth in Action Programme Countries and Partner Countries from East Europe and Caucasus (EECA). The training is aimed to improve training competences of trainers, facilitators and team leaders on intercultural learning and anti-discrimination when working on international youth exchanges in cooperation with Neighboring Partner Countries.
Key elements of the training will be creating a structured day-by-day programme for an international youth exchange, session development, exercising workshops and exercises on intercultural learning and anti-discrimination, facilitation of sessions, feedback and evaluation.
The project will gather 24 participants from 12 countries in Kobuleti, Georgia.
Objectives:
To improve competences of trainers, facilitators and team leaders on intercultural learning and anti-discrimination
To share experiences and expertise from trainer to trainer
To develop new approaches and concrete methods for international youth exchanges
To provide time and space for individual development of the participants as trainers and facilitators
To establish new partnerships and cooperation for the improvement of quality in international youth work

Potential Partner Countries:
EU Countries plus EU, Norway, Lichtenstein and Eastern European and Caucasus
Conditions:
As the project seeks funding by the Youth in Action Programme accommodation and food will be provided by the organizers. Travel costs to the venue and back will be covered 70%. The visa costs for entering Georgia will be covered 100%.
