Stop Wasting

The objective of project “Stop wasting” is sensitized the participants about the environmental, ethic, economic problems of wasting food, teaching them to avoid the domestic food, with some simple advices. In fact, the domestic wasting represents one third of the total and would be avoidable with some daily practises.
During the project:
• will be created a food culture, talking about production and environmental consequences, the importance of buying Km 0 food and the organic recycling.
• the participants will see the local initiatives to fight this problem and they will share their international experiences.
• will be sensitized the joy, the duty and the right of everyone to defend the Earth.
• will share some easy daily tips to avoid the domestic wasting.
• the participants, including participants with fewer opportunities, will improve their skills and competencies;
• will be promoted intercultural dialogue;
• will foster the quality of the cooperation between the organizations in the youth filed and stakeholders;
• will enhance the international dimension of youth activities.
The project seeks to address a dramatical modern problem like the environmental destruction, using in best way the resource that we have in our hand, without wasting them and make participants understand the importance of the world resources and that everyone is responsible for their use. In the main time the project will favour the international collaboration with common activities, workshops and reflections. Because everyone has the right and the duty to defend the Earth.
The six days activities will be between 23-30 April 2019 (included two travel days). The participants will be 5 for each partner between 20-26 ages (plus one youth leader), respecting the gender balance and giving priority to participants with fewer opportunities.
Youth leaders will take part to the APV in March. In this way will be favoured the collaboration between the partners and knowledge between them.
