The Partner-Finding Tool
The project focuses on promoting entrepreneurship and skills development because young people are under a higher risk of unemployment.
Finding the job that we enjoy is one of the key moments in life. At the same time, the fight against unemployment is infinite and, with the invention of new technologies and automation, some jobs are far more threatened. In addition to the economic crisis that is still plaguing many countries of Europe, there is a lack of information concerning the opportunities for entrepreneurship for young people. Countries selected for this project suffer from high youth unemployment, and yet the smallest amount of entrepreneurs are young people between the ages of 18 to 30.
In this project, we focus on developing ideas and utilizing business opportunities. As part of the project, participants will explore the business opportunities around Brtonigla-Verteneglio exemplarily, analyze them and create their own business plans. Furthermore, participants will simulate their own start-ups. Finally, the participants will prepare material to help other young people with their own business ideas and motivate them to develop these. Participants will create for example a business plan and get advice from entrepreneurs.
Objectives:
• Encourage young participants and initiate them to support their own business ideas
• Enrich participants with experience with environmental information
• Help them analyze opportunities in a local context and cultural heritage, which can be transferred to their environments conditions
• Intercultural awareness through the interaction between people from various backgrounds, different entrepreneurial cultures, and traditions
• Common values and European citizenship by living together for a week, participating in common activities and sharing experiences in non-formal and informal way
We choose just certain countries because these countries have high unemployment of young people - from 17 to 40%. We are not interested in other countries for now. Thank you for your understanding.
