Stand up to bullying

Nowadays, bullying is a big social problem and can have lifelong consequences (psychological, physical etc).

It is Youth exchange, which will be implemented in Greece where will youth get the skills and knowledge for the prevention of violence between youth.

Location exchanges: Greece
The date of exchange in August
Participants: 6 + youth leader

Nowadays, bullying is a big social problem and can have lifelong consequences (psychological, physical etc). The overall projects has as main goal to empower youth to have dialogue before be violent by increasing their understanding of the impact of name-calling, bullying and other bias behaviors on their school and community, educating them about the specific role of being an ally, teaching them a process to assess the safety of intervening, and providing them with opportunities to develop and practice the variety of alternative responses to take action against name-calling and bullying. Firstly the participants will get to know how to recognize different types of bullying.
Then through cooperation they will learn methods that can be used to prevent violence. After an exchange of the participants through workshops in their home schools expand methods and techniques to other students in order to improve the school environment for learning. All activities should be based on multicultural dialogue and informal learning, based on their own experiences of the participants.
