Fostering Skill Development and Active Citizenship of Young People Through Film Making

Young people need to acquire the skills they need for today’s – and tomorrow’s – labour market. What is more, they need to be equipped with social, civic and intercultural competences as well as a strong capacity for critical thinking.

In the light of mentioned needs, the project will adress two main following issues for young people, which helps them to find their place in the labour market and in society as a whole.

- Developing their key skills, namely employability skills to adapt today’s labour market and working environment,
- Developing their civic skills to empower them to actively participate in society as a responsible citizen.
Many diffrerent education methodologies could be offered to develop mentioned key and civic skills. Among all, film making is the one offering variety of benefits meeting requirements of both skills,

Inspred by mentioned needs, Skilled&ACTive project will produce two outcomes aiming at young people, youth centers, youth organisations, youth tutors and learners.
The outputs will be:
1. Skilled&ACTive Training Programme
2. CPD materials for Skilled&ACTive mentors.
