Sharing best practise methods on migration & flight

We are searching for partner organisations for a Strategic Partnership on sharing best practises (KA2) in a cross-sectional project (adult/youth).

In the last three years solar e.V. has developed an EduLARP tool (Educational live action role play) called Minosia Labyrinth on the topic migration & flight together with three European partners. This project will end in summer 2020 and we are searching for partner organisations to share the new educational tool to implement it in the educational work with adults and youth (young adults, older adolescents) in Europe.
We offer to show to you how to use Minosia Labyrinth, to provide the knowledge and skills to enable you to use the tool in your own organisations and educational work. At the end you will have the competences to facilitate the complex simulation- & role-play game yourself. The process will be a combination of learning-by-doing and to give the theoretical background knowledge needed for facilitators.
We are most interested in non-formal educational tools and methods on the same topics (migration & flight), which includes the perspectives from migrants and refugees and which helps to prevent discrimination & racism, raise awareness for migration as human right, spread knowledges about reasons for fleeing etc.. If you want to share your knowledge and skills regarding the topic migration and/or wants to implement Minosia Labyrinth in your work, feel free to contact us.

Important! Minosia Labyrinth is an educational tool, which is primarily aimed to privileged learners, it is not a tool for social inclusion or integration from migrants & refugees and should also not be used for this purpose.

A short description of Minosia Labyrinth:
In Minosia, a fictitious EU country, the difficulties that migrant and refugees face in the migration and arrival situation are made tangible in a playful way. The station-based game seems like a labyrinth in which the players have to find their way around as migrants or actors in institutions. The interactive learning experience imparts basic knowledge about the functioning and complexity of the migration and integration system. It enables a change of perspective and promotes the empathy for (de)-privileged positions. Above all, it aims to stimulate a critical examination of different privileges and social roles and a reflection on stereotypes and racism. The method is primarily aimed at privileged people.
The game has a modular format and is therefore suitable for different target groups in youth and adult education as well as for different thematic focuses. Possible target groups for example could be groups already working in the field of migration, flight or integration as well as groups who generally wish to receive further training in the field of migration, criticism of racism, post-colonialism etc.
