Raising the awareness of nZWB (Nearly Zero Water Buildings)

The main goal of the project is raising the awareness of nZWB (Nearly Zero Water Buildings) among the young designers of the built environment.

Dear Colleagues,

If you interested in the project which its details are given below, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Project Summary:

Water is an increasingly scarce resource, with rainfall reduced by climate change while population growth puts pressure on the demand side. Buildings are responsible for a significant percentage of national water use. One of the hot topics in building practice is the intention to develop buildings that are more resilient towards changes in rainfall patterns due to climate change.

This project proposal builds upon an understanding/perspective which will be used to raise the awareness of nZWB (Nearly Zero Water Buildings) among the young designers of the built environment.

The framework of the project proposal is structured to provide training/learning/education (lifetime learning) to young professionals who are actively involved in shaping the built environment.

With this regard, young architects and mechanical engineers working as designers on professional practice related, contributing to the development of legislation and regulations are in the radar of this proposal.

The project aims to transfer up to date knowledge to professionals with providing state of the art applications for NZWB.

One of the expected key outcomes of the project is to provide up to date knowledge to the professionals who are not trained in university-related nZWB.
