The project presented pretend promote among youth workers, work or volunteer, non-governmental youth organizations or public bodies working in the field of youth acquiring new skills and competencies in order to enrich their profile as a professional in this field .
Strengthen the capacities of the organizations participating in the project, which will benefit from the experiences and new perspectives that contribute to those people from diverse backgrounds. This project will enhance the creation of a network between organizations in the youth field in Europe and contribute to the recognition and professionalization of the work of the participants.
Working in the field of youth to promote the acquisition of new skills and competencies in order to enrich their profile as professionals in this field. By promoting transnational learning experiences in the long term for those working in the field of youth, this action will also aim to strengthen the capacities of the structures involved in the project, which will benefit from the experience and new perspectives bring these people from diverse backgrounds. This call thus reinforce networking between structures of youth work in Europe and contribute to the political priority of support, recognition and professionalization of work in this area as horizontal political tool at European level.
The present project includes nonprofit activities and belongs to the field of youth and non-formal education.
In order to ensure maximum benefit from the experience of learning mobility, both for participants and for organizations of home and host, requires a minimum of two years of documented relevant professional experience in the field and working with youth.
These professionals must maintain a clear cooperation, regular, structured and stable home with your organization. Be identified in the application form.
The objectives of this project are:
- Give those working in the field of youth the opportunity to experience a different working reality in another country,
- A better understanding of the European dimension of youth work,
- Improve the professional skills, intercultural and language of those who work with youth,
- Promote the exchange of experiences and approaches of youth work and non-formal education in Europe,
- To help develop stronger partnerships and better quality among youth organizations across Europe, and
- Enhancing the quality and function of youth work in Europe.
ACTIVITY
JOB SHADOWING (professional track) aims to exchange working methods and actions in different organizations, then launch joint projects, transferring experiences between cultures, and leverage existing work in other organizations for self-innovation.
