Perform Tolerance

The project will focus on young people and will give the youth an opportunity to participate in activities which are illustrating intolerance.

Goals
1. to exchange informal learning and enrich cultural perspective through the art, dance and music;

2. to share the best practices in tackling cultural differences, integration and inclusion in youth work and tolerance;

3. to involve people with fewer opportunities to take part in alternative methods of learning which will give them a chance to discover new cultures, habits and life-styles, through peer-learning;

4. to strengthen values like solidarity, democracy, friendship, etc between different nations;

5. to learn more about the ways how different concepts of citizenship impact upon youngster's life across Europe through various alternative methods as are Art, music and dancing;

6. maintain and improve the physical condition as well as the quality of movement to perform daily activities;

7. to encourage Youth Exchange and cooperation between young people from different countries.


Participants
8 Participants;

Aged between 18 and 30 years old;

Gender balance: 4 females and 4 males (a team leader include to one of the genders);

Willingness to actively participate in all phases of the project;

Intermediate knowledge / good English;

Programme

This Youth Exchange will take place from the 4th to 12th February, duration of eight days, including the arrival day and the departure day. During the exchange non-formal education methods will be used and the active participation of the youngsters will be required. Dance, music and Art Workshops and dynamics will be held where the participants will interact and develop personal and social skills.

During the program there will be discussion activities, aiming to increase knowledge and practice in fighting intolerance as well as the exchange of experiences. Besides that all the partners will be invited to organize four activities which will be included to the program that will be participative and illustrative of their own culture.

For the activities program we will open a debate with our partners in order to construct it in a more participative way, giving answers to all the expectations and taking advantage of all the competences.

A Flash Mob about the theme will be organized and performed in the last days of the programme so all of you are also invited to give your own ideas. It will be used later on as results dissemination and also to approach the local community, media and other stakeholders to this kind of projects and themes.
