Osmaniye KA University looks for partners in a Renewable EnergyCurriculum Develop. Project that will be submitted to the Strategic Part. for Higher Education.
Osmaniye Korkut Ata University (OKA) looks for partners from EU countries in a Renewable Energy (RE) Curriculum Development Project that will be submitted to KA233- Strategic Partnership for Higher Education.
Osmaniye is one of the best locations for visiting traditional Turkish culture, arts, dances, and cusine. OKA is located in Osmaniye city at Eastern Mediterranean Region of Turkey. It is surrounded by major cities such as Adana, Gaziantep, Hatay, and Kahramanmaras with rich historical civilizations and world famous cusine.
Renewable energy is increasingly one of the most important subjects of industrial and educational life. OKA in keeping up with developments want to develop a renewable energy curriculum for its engineering students.
Tentative Project goals are as follow:
• To establish a common curriculum between the engineering faculties
• To contribute to the standardization of curriculum and lesson content which would eliminate the differences between the countries in engineering education,
• To promote innovative implementations in engineering education on an international scale,
• To enable development of adequate curriculum and educational materials for students to receive training
Tentative Intellectual Outputs are as follows:
• A research report on the current status of RE
• Curriculum Development
• Impact of RE curriculum on learning processes
• Congress Proceedings
• Hand Guide for the education of lecturers
Some of the activities that the project will include but not limited to mutual-technical visits, learning of best practices, short-term staff trainings workshops, and an international Congress. The project duration will be between 24 and 36 months and the budget will be about 350 000€.
