My First Mobility

The association "Parcours Le Monde - Grand Ouest" (PLMGO) aims to promote and develop, through formal and non-formal education, European and international mobility, intercultural dialogue and citizenship. PLMGO’s actions particularly target young people (16-25) who are far from mobility, with fewer opportunities, the objectives being their empowerment, as well as their social and professional integration.

Are you eager to host a small group (3 to 6 people), show them how you work and make them discover societal and social issues? My First Mobility was designed to send small groups of young people with fewer opportunities abroad, to discover the work of organizations whose activities are related to current social issues, such as sustainable development, or caritative actions.

Short-term mobility of 1 to 3 weeks is a lever for personal development, a positive experience which allows young people to be remotivated by realizing that they can learn and succeed, which will energize their path to get out of the situations of failure they may have encountered (school dropout, family difficulties, absence, conflicts, precariousness, lack of autonomy, relational problems, isolation ...).

We will send 3 to 6 volunteers per session, with sessions planned between June 2022 and July 2024. The volunteering activities must involve either:
- Climate action & Environment
- Youth & Children
- Intercultural dialogue
- New Technologies & Digital skills

As the target group is composed of NEETs, they require a strengthened tutoring, both by the sending and the hosting organization. We are looking for partners able and willing to host young people with fewer opportunities, sharing our values regarding social inclusion.
