LOOKING FOR A FRENCH PARTNER

We are Fondazione Ikaros, a Polytechnic Institute operating in the fields of IVET, Higher Education, Lifelong Learning and Job Services in its three seats in the provinces of Bergamo and Milan. We offer courses recognized in Italy that include traineeships for Hairdressers, Administrative, Beauticians, Cooks, Bakers and Pastry chefs, Secretaries, IT Technicians, Graphic designers, Carpenters, Electricians, Mechanics, Electronic technicians, Logistics, Marketing operators, Surveyors and Accountants.

We are planning to apply on 26th April 2018 for a KA1 Youth Exchange Project involving sports activities, preferably winter sports such as skiing.

The aim of the project is to combine sport and non-formal education with multicultural experiences, promoting the development of transversal competences at personal and social level and the enhancement of social inclusion and diversity. The project is intended to bring together students aged 14 to 18 years with fewer opportunities, geographical and economic obstacles to participate in a 7-day youth exchange in France with the aim of promoting social inclusion and diversity and supporting young people in the acquisition of multicultural experiences through sport and non-formal education.

We are looking for a French partner interested in hosting 12 Italian students aged between 14-18, 1 leader and 1 accompanying person for a Youth Exchange in the Mountains, with a group of 12 French youngsters + group leaders. We are looking for youth organizations or schools. We have so far implemented two Youth Exchanges and over 90 Learning Weeks (2 of them in the mountains in Briançon (http://www.fondazioneikaros.org/learning-week-briancon-2018/ ).
