This project aims at carrying out a solar prevention action in European schools. School directors, trainers, teachers and associations working in schools are the stakeholders of this project, and the target audience is primary school pupils.
Based on the Living with the Sun guide deployed by Passerelles Info in France, prevention and awareness sessions and activity modules, which are part of the school curriculum, are to be conducted by teachers. The guide is self-training but training sessions can be provided if needed.
The project also includes the cooperation of schools from different European countries with each other, through exchanges and collective virtual events. A cooperation with southern Mediterranean countries (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt) is also envisaged if it is possible in the framework of a strategic partnership.

PASSERELLES INFO
taking place
from 2021-11-01 till 2024-11-01
This project relates to:
Strategic Partnerships
and is focusing on:
  • Environment
  • Health
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Social obstacles
  • Disability
  • Educational difficulties
  • Health problems
  • Geographical obstacles
We want to run a project with a school population that is representative of local societies. We do not want to limit ourselves to the privileged, but to include all pupils who are socially excluded because of their social background, disability, illness...
