LİVİNG İN HARMONY WİTH DİVERSİTY

When looked at media, we can observe that the islamophobia has come to light into western world as a result of terrorist attacks occuring in Middle East, which are based on religious issues. We aim to create awareness throughout the world by drawing attention to the common grounds and wiping the prejudice out.

By this project we aim to:

-eliminate prejudices caused by misunderstandings,

-focus on our common ground and create a feeling of living in harmony,

-introduce tolerance, solidarity, non-discrimination mentioned in second clause of treaty of European Union.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

As our project aims cultural amalgamation and elimination of prejudices, it contains activities which can create awareness

- Meeting

- Presentations of participants

- Introduction and dramatisation of religious ceremonies

- Traditional Music activity

- Sightseeing

- Sport activity

- Religious symbols and perceptions to them

- Short film shooting

- Video sharing

- Street interview

We hope to create and improve the knowledge, skills and attitudes listed below at the end of this Project.

In long term we want to reinforce wish to live in harmony with diversity via creating bridges between cultural different people.
