What is Legambiente Prato?
We are an EVS accreditated sending, receiving and coordinating organization and since 2006 we've been hosting about 40 EVS volunteers involved in all the activities held in Prato and in Rifugio Cascina Le Cave: environmental education, hiking in natural areas, workcamps and summer camps for children, local campaigns and Eco festivals.
Legambiente Prato aims for the promotion of healthy life styles, awareness on critical topics such as climate change, waste and CO2 reduction, recycling, substainable development. Regarding our actions, it's very simple to be involved with because they're targeted to students, families and youngsters.
We believe in "non formal education" as a tool for active citizenship and voluntary work to support learning the "environments" we live in.
For these reasons we want to share our experiences, develop and meet new realities both at local and European levels.
"Erasmus+" is the key to our questions!

If you share our committments and your organization wants to promote a "Training course" or a "Youth Exchange" and to take an advantage of the peculiar "Rifugio Cascina Le Cave" settings, please contact us!

In this case, Legambiente Prato could be your perfect partner organization but this means that we are not promoting a project, we just want to help your environmental and natural activities proposing a perfect place for them!
