The Partner-Finding Tool
The project aims at safeguarding ancient crafts, authentic European economic and cultural heritage, promoting them among the younger generations.
The participants of the project will learn, through non-formal and informal methods, ancient crafts, whose secrets has been handed down through generations for centuries, which represent an authentic economic and cultural heritage endangered by globalisation and thus to be safeguarded. The small town of Cossoine in Sardinia, where the project will take place, is still today a “laboratory” of ancient crafts such as blacksmith, artisanal production of gastronomic products (bread, cheeses), craftmanship of iron and wood and construction of dry stone walls. The participants of the project will also develop communication skills and an entrepreneurial mentality. The project will involve 30 young people, 6 for each partner (5 participants + 1 youth leader) from 5 different countries across Europe with different cultures and traditions.
