Intergenerational S(up)port

The "Intergenerational S(up)port" reflecting about the benefits of healthy lifestyle and sports in their lives, as well as a tool for active aging.

The young participants will discuss and debate about the role of sports in their lives and in the aging process. They will have the opportunity to get in touch with seniors practicing sports and to know some good practices related to sports, healthy lifestyle and active aging. The participants will also participate in sport activities with elders and do an intergenerational walk for active ageing.
Taking place in Loures, with the duration of seven days, "Intergenerational S(up)port" has as main objectives to promote sports as a way to a healthy lifestyle, propagate active aging through sports and develop intergenerational dialogue and solidarity. Another aim of this project is to give the chance to youngsters to know people from different countries and cultures. For these purposes we will develop sport activities, panel discussions and intergenerational and intercultural moments.
