Intergenerational Art

Opportunity given to the participants to actually meet their partners, becoming aware of cultural differences and methods of work in different countries.

The "Intergenerational Art" project, which will occur in Lisbon for 3 days, developing a project in partnership, within the Youth in Action Program, related to intergenerational dialogue and solidarity through art activities. During those 3 days, participants will exchange experiences and good practices and share ideas in order to develop a partnership for a project to be presented in the future.
The project will give the opportunity to participants to develop their partnerships and ideas for future projects. The discussions and reflection periods will also allow raising awareness among all participants on how to conjugate different ideas in a concrete project.
The project aims as well to promote discussion about the role and importance of art in developing intergenerational dialogue and solidarity, which we consider a very important subject in 2012, the European Year for Active Aging and Solidarity between Generations.
