Interested in ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnerships in response of the Covid-19 situation (tourism topic)

We would like to join project proposals in Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships in response of the Covid-19 situation (mainly in projects with the topic of tourism, cultural heritage, environment) as partner, in which our current competencies could be an added-value, and in which we can improve our coordinating capacities for future projects.

Harghita Community Development Association (45 municipalities from Harghita county) undertakes its activities in the field of tourism, cultural heritage and environmental protection in Harghita county (Transylvania, Romania).

We have experience in Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, Europe for Citizens programme and we are involved in Erasmus+ KA2 project proposals as partner. We support young people with mentoring and we create opportunities for them to participate on exhibitions, conferences, workshops and exchange of experience in Romania and abroad. From 2018 Harghita Community Development Association participates in youth exchange projects.

Our main activity: development and promotion of tourism and cultural heritage: increasing the capacity of accessing funds regarding the development and promotion of the tourism; developing the institutional framework in the tourism sector; organizing fairs, events and tourism exhibitions in on sustainable tourism activities in protected natural areas; preparation of publications, websites, magazines; participation in thematic projects (ex. Via Mariae) and promotion of cultural-religious tourism etc.
