HOME is a youth exchange, in which a diverse group of young people will explore the theory of 5 skins of the austrian architect and artist Hundertwasser.

OBJECTIVES:
1) Improve the level of key competences and skills of young people, including those with fewer opportunities.
2) Promote intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity, in particular through increased learning mobility opportunities for young people.
3) Foster quality improvements in youth work, in particular through enhanced cooperation between organisations in the youth field.
4) Enhance the international dimension of youth activities.
ACTIVITY:
Bringing together 16 young people with different (cultural) backgrounds in Asturias (Spain) to explore the concept of HOME together through different non-formal learning experiences: hikes, workshops, group building activities, painting, artistic expression, massages…
The duration of the youth exchange will be 10 days plus two days for travels.
METHODOLOGY:
The guideline for the activities is the theory of 5 skins by the Austrian architect Hundertwasser. We will explore the meanings of HOME following these 5 levels (Dimension and possible activities):
1) World/Earth: Exploring nature, hikes…
2) Identity/Culture: Exchanging rituals like music, cuisine, museums…
3) House/Shelter: City tour, traditional architecture…
4) Clothing: Workshops, theatre, discussions
5) Skin/Senses: Self-reflection activities, body-consciousness.
PLACE and DURATION:
The exchange will take place in Asturias, Spain and last 10 days (excluding travel days).
