Informal activities with local people for building optimistic attitude to life and the environment and opportunities for development and realization

We are developing a 10-month EVS project with a total of 4 European volunteers (1 girl and 1 boy from each partner) from 2 European countries.
We plan 2 preparatory months (mart-april 2018) for volunteers here in Bulgaria (in Sofia) to be included in language training in Bulgarian language (by Suggestopedia) and at least 3 specialized interactive, creative and informal methods and techniques for working with children and young people, subject to the objectives and activities of the project. When the training modules have been completed, volunteers will have 8 months (may-december 2018) of field work in small town settlements remote from administrative and economic centers. There the volunteers will be divided into pairs (girl and boy) and will be sent to the respective small settlements - Yambol and Velingrad. Тhere they will meet local children, youths and adults in local youth and cultural centers and they will work together to achieve the objectives of the project.
The main and long-term goal of the project is to promote and enhance tolerance and solidarity, empathy and dialogue, including intergenerational dialogue, to stimulate youth employment and social inclusion in remote areas by giving voice to the volunteer and non-formal education among local communities in settlements remote from large administrative and well-developed economic centers.
