Global active citizens

Exchange and visit of multilateral institutions in Geneva (UN, WHO etc). Debate on global topics, multilateralism vs regionalism. EU and the world for growth.

Geneva is probably a piece of the global community in Europe. It hosts all the major multilateral organisations dealing with the world's key topics:
-peace
-development
-health
-education

European young people should also learn and compare themselves, their Euro-shape policies and experiences with the outer world and the multilateral level.

The project should include a study visit of the most important institutions in Geneva and a brainstorm among local young people and the students coming from the sending institutions.

The target group should ideally be students interested in starting a career in an international organization or interested in global topics at personal and professional level.

Topics may vary: gender balance, human rights, economic growth, environment, peace, depending on the participants' interest and the institutions available

The participants should produce evidence in written or other creative form of how the EU and the multilateral institutions work together to promote and protect the same values and goals.
