Short term ESC

Sputnik festival whose main purpose is to promote and implement, starting from the territory of origin, the musical and comic-editorial culture with an independent character.
During these years, the spaces of Pisticci have been rethought, enhanced, used as a stage for various artistic activities during the days of the event, including drawing workshops, musical improvisation, live painting, acoustic performances, theatrical performances, concerts, interviews, debates, exhibitions and markets.
The musical proposal ranges through different genres and is intertwined with the figurative arts.

The activities might include: working at the Info point, assisting in detecting the needs of the NGO’s, enhancing solidarity in their activities, logistic and support during the festival’s days, setting up, problem-solving, photo/video reportage, support the community through communication and mutual support and assisting Lucana Mente Lab to raise their visibility in the local community
Volunteers profile:

We are looking for motivated volunteers with an artistic background. The ideal volunteers studied or have a passion for comics and graphic novel, digital skills including editing video/photo, and passion for art, music, theatre and it’s ready to cooperate with his own ideas to the creation of artistic workshop.
Experience in the field of festival support and experience in the production of comics will be an extra.

- Willing to learn about the culture of the host country and region
- Good ability to work in a team and sociable
- Basic knowledge of Italian (preferable)
- Interest in social and artistic activities
- Comic book student or aspirant
- Autonomy and open-mindedness
- 22/30 years
- Knowledge of English
