Project: Empowering young people with IBD
LOOKING FOR PARTNERS
Call: KA2 Youth 2018/10/04
IBD is a group of serious chronic diseases which often develop at young age. Young people suffering from these conditions face significant challenges in their daily lives. Besides the medical and physical challenges stemming from the symptoms of the disease, youngsters face emotional challenges such as anxiety and depression, as well as social ones linked to the lack of awareness of their specific needs in public settings and environments (schools, formal and non-formal education institutions etc.). With this background, the project will develop a series of educational tools and activities targeting young people with IBD, educators and educational institutions, as well as parents and families with the objective to improve young people’s quality of life.
